Here's my next installment for the craft barn calendar challenge that has been running weekly and I've been making as went along.
Week 5 paper tape
For this challenge I made my own washi tape from masking tape, inks and a hero arts stamp and fashioned it into a rosette with a button centre. The backround is made using various inks, harlequin mask, dylusions flower stamps that i bleached out the colour and doodled and scraped some texture paste here and there to complete it.

week 6 felt/feutrine
For this weeks challenge I used sizzix flower and accucut cat dies to cut my shapes from felt. I stuffed the cat and stitched together. Craftwork cards paper overstamped with clarity floursh stamp and my much loved buttons added around the page, pink ribbon weaved through frilly lace. very tactile and cute I think.

week 7 candles
This challenge really stumped me at first, I couldnt think of anything I had that would fit the theme, other than some wax for my melt pot. So after a search on Mr Google as my mum calls it, up came a picture of Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast, one of my fave animations. So after checking I could use it from Devianart, I printed out and coloured with pro markers. I loved making this background, using inks and sprays and Tim Holtz Bitty Grunge stamps and an alphabet set to say HELLO THERE as that is what I think he's saying in a charming french accent. Finished with some glossy accents and gold glitter glue.

week 8 children/ cute
Yey, out came my new Octopode Factory stamp, the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz, coloured with Pro Markers and Paperartsy minis Castle for the castle at Emerald City. I decided to draw a yellow brick road and a quick scene made by scribbling pro markers in greens then blues and dropping blending solution over to get the effect shown. I was really chuffed with this page as it's bright and fun.
