Over at The Craft Barn they have been running a weekly calendar challenge with a new theme given each week. I've taken part and followed along making a calendar page each week, whilst I awaited some calendar tabs to be able to put it all together. Also as it is going to be a gift I didnt want the recipient to see it before I gave it to them. I thoroughly enjoyed playinh along each week and just enjoying my stash with whatever came to hans using the theme.
weeks 1 - 4
week 1 vellum. Here I've made a winter scene using pan pastels and clarity stamps and overlayed a sheet of winter worded vellum attached with gem brads. Used for January
week 2 bright colours. Here I've used distress inks in bright pink n yellow, using water sprayed through a mask for a ghost pattern. clarity flourish stamp, and visible image wing stamps. Some doodling and hand cut heart.

week 3 yellow green white. Here I've simply stamped the large bird stamp from chocolate baroque and heat embossed in white and used distress inks to colour over, the image resisting the ink.
