September Calendar page

Hi guys, so long since I blogged but I will be getting back to it now, I've had oral surgery and regular dentist visits and it's floored me but I'm getting there. So a look at my September Calendar page for The Craft Barn Blog Monthly Calendar Challenge. There is still time to enter.
To make this page I've used Brushos for the tree top and used Brusho coloured card to die cut Sizzix leaves. I've used an emboss pen and my own mix of embossing powders on the leaves. The tree trunk and background was done using acrylic paints and then stamped over.

Thanks for visiting,

Handmade Bliss Rainbow Cat

Hello. Today on the Handmade Bliss Blog its my turn to offer some crafty inspiration using their products. I've made a tall card full of colour.
The background is made using Brushos on watercolour card that I first painted raindrops with masking fluid. I've drawn a rainbow with pro markers. I've then drawn an umbrella and stamped my images, coloured with pro markers, cut out and arranged a little scene. The umbrella has on some of the smaller stamps used to give it its pattern. I've then used the same stamps around the edge.
To finish I've embellished with sequins.

Calendar Challenge April

Hi guys. I've just seen my post didn't work back at the beginning of April. Apologies. So here it is.
For The Craft Barn Calendar Challenge, this April month we have the prompts of Blue and Umbrella.
Here's my page. I've used brusho colours on the background that I'd painted raindrops and splatters with masking fluid first. When raindrops dry I've rubbed off the masking fluid and used two layers of glossy accents with iridescent glitter between. The umbrellas are hand drawn and water coloured with distress inks. Some stamping with a Kaisercraft number stamp I'm grey stazon.
Hope you like the bold colours. I was quite pleased and love experimenting with brusho crystal colours.

Happy crafting

Brusho experiments

Hi crafty friends, this week at The Craft Barn Blog we have been sharing projects and ideas with Brusho Crystal Colours. These pots of colour are superbly amazing and they really do the job of lots of products from one pot of colour. These were new to me so I thought I'd do experiments with them. You can see it all my experiments on the blog with some tips and ideas from acetate to tin foil. There's a lot. Here are some pictures of my finished project.
I had fun and got messy. Top marks all round for this range of products.
