Trio of Hearts

Hello again, here I'm sharing my project that is being shown over on The Craft Barn Blog. This week the Design team have been showcasing different projects made with the Trio of wooden hearts that are available online at The Craft Barn. Click here to get to the blog for full instructions on how I made it and to see the rest of the team's projects.
This project is special in that I made it for my mum. When given our theme I immediately thought of the three generations of girls in our little family. The wooden hearts have three different sizes and are made of wood. So nice and solid.
Mum, Katie and I are all very close, we're great friends, as well as mothers and daughters and grandma. Katie would climb in her Gran's pocket if she could. Most importantly, we love each other very much. So these three hearts are done as a tribute to us three girls.
I also wanted it to reflect two of my new years resolutions..to make more time for just us girls and show mum even more how much I love her.
I've gone with a mixed media approach. Using my new pot of DecoArt mixed media crackle paste, acrylic paints, antiquing cream, gilding wax, PaperArtsy Eclectica Sara N stamps, cosmic shimmer pearl glue, old book pages, ribbon, thread and my brand new sets of dies, Sue Wilson delicate daisies complete petals and delicate daisies open petals. Oh and my must have buttons on it. I do hope you'll pop over and have a look.
I'd like to enter this into the following challenges
