Hello crafty friends, here's my latest entry for The Alpha Challenge at The Craft Barn. Our letter this time was Z. So I chose Zinnia.
Starting by coating my pages with a few layers of gesso then I've stenciled through Leaf Swirls Stencil from Imagination Crafts with Encore metallic honeydew ink.
Stamps from Crafters Companion Flower Fairies, coloured with just polychromo pencils. Using lots of oranges and reds. No blender or stumps. Going with Autumnal colours. It was meant to be quicker that way but I still ended up spending a wee while on it. Some distress markers to draw in stems for flowers and to ground my fairy. Then to finish off I punched Martha Stewart Butterflies out of Kraft card that was left over from my August IC challenge card (See even the smallest bits come in useful) and glued around my pages.
