Over on Stampotique Designers challenge, SDC111 Jane asked us to use orange, yellow and purple for our makes. Inspired by Darcy Wilkinson on the PaperArtsy Blog making own patchwork papers and the Country View Crafts quotations and sayings challenge , here's what I came up with.
I made another page for my challenges book.
I used some packaging paper and coloured it with purple paint and a spritz of Dylusions white to lighten it then when dry rubbed over with a baby wipe to get a worn effect. Next I stamped using purple stazon and white brilliance inks. Stamps are all from the JOFY collections by PaperArtsy.
The grass and words I stamped onto some ranger colourwash coloured paper done a while back and cut wavy stems from another pre made background.
The flower heads were stamped onto some tissue paper that I'd layered and glued together then painted with Fresco zesty zing and haystack paints then cut out.
The corner part circles are grunge paste coloured with oil pastels.
Some doodling with white uniball pen finished off.
Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by.
Happy crafting
