Then with crushed olive and shabby shutters distress inks I coloured from the edges and used the same stamp on the corners. Tim Holtz provided the sentiment stamp in the heart.
String tied around a brayer and rolled through gold paint brayered across the card. Then string dyed with coffee tied around the main panel. Then came messy play time. Yey. Making my three main embellishments.
The wings are moulding paste cast over some small acrylic wing stamps then painted.
The bottom heart is string dipped in glue then arranged into shape and let dry and painted to match.
The top heart is a handcut chipboard heart covered with string glued in place and again painted to match.
I'll definitely be doing more casting with pastes and rubber stamps.
