E is for Epigram.
Wow, this was fun and messy to create. The picture really doesnt show it too well, as it is a lot brighter. Well what didn't I use to create this. I did start off with oil pastels, but felt it looked too simialr to my V pages. So I scraped away the pastels leaving pale colour behin then painted over it with gesso. I did actually like this look, and will keep it in mind for future makes. Then using my beloved Spackle through a mask to create my base to add colour too. First off I stamped some little flowers using Pebeo drawing gum to mask them from the next layers.and also flicked the fluis across the pages. This was experimental and it worked, so next time I needn't be as sparing with it.
So then out came the sprays and water spray. inks and diamond mask, stamps, including Dylusions and Visible Image Weave background stamp, available here. Then some doodling and colour added around the spackle with pastel pencils rubbed with my finger to soften.
To finish I included two Epigram quotes that I personally like. So there's the short version of how I created my Epigram pages.
I am entering this into the following challenge;
