E is for Emboss. I chose to do another page, this time E for Emboss. I really enjoyed putting this one together. First I used Creative Expressions Spackle through an harlequin mask and then through Dreamweaver LL549 metal stencil. Thus giving a raised effect.
Using Paperartsy alfresco acrylic, Eco green and Studio acrylic paints to create my main base.
Heat embossing using brown and blue powders with Indigo Blu harlequin stamp. Triple embossing with Indigo Blu script stamp onto a chipboard butterfly cut from Tim Holtz sizzix die. Embossed buttterfly punch out and side tabs. the scroll was a die cut from gold mirri card which I sanded and added Espresso alcohol ink to. This had another embossed feature to it being spellbinders.
Some flowers stamped using old Do crafts foam stamps and little Midge from Stampotique stamped and coloured onto book page. The quote is a chipboard piece witha crackle effect done with pva glue and paints, then the quote itself is part of a stamp from Tim Holtz stuff to say set, which I heat embossed in blue. I lightly stamped script stamp across pages, just rolling the stamp rather usinf an clear block. This project took a while to complete, as i spent a lot of time thinking about it. As I tend to do. Hope you like this piece too, and why not check out the challenge that is ongoing with a new letter given every fortnight.
Happy Crafting
