Good afternoon, and how is everyone getting on? Come on, who made New Years's Resolutions? Are you keeping up with them or failed miserabally???? for me, I'm afraid it's both. I said I wanted to read more books like I used to.... tick around four novels a week, be more organised.....big fat cross. lol well at least I.m working at it. I just wish my health would play along with the ole brain matter.
Anyway, today I have my design team piece for Visible Image and DCC&Friends to share with you.
I'm introducing you to Edgar from the fabulous range of characters brought to you by Visible Image.
I started with a chipboard circle and covered it with paper coloured with Ranger Colorwash spray. Then I have stamped Retro dots and feathers n splodges from Free Your Imagination stamp sets using distress inks in similar colours. Then using resist paste coloured with alchol ink in bronze I've used it through a dots mask. Edgar is coloured using Pro Markers and finished with Buttons...oh I love buttons, do you?? Or do you have a different embellishment infatuation????
Do come and joi in the challenges at
PART 4
So here he is, EDGAR. Edgar, Edgar, Edgar. A funny sort of chap. He has a wealth that many could only dream of, yet to look at him, you wouldn't think so and that is how Edgar like it. He enjoys his reputation of being an eccentric fellow, someone who always knows someone else to fix a problem, offers friendly advice when asked and loves to entertain the ladies and frequent an assortment of establishments along the way. Edgar likes to dress on the quirky side, again bringing a fun element to his demeanor. On the inside, Edgar is loyal, trust worthy, honest and hard working. Believing solidly in the mantra, "you only get out what you put in" and this has seen him through life well enough over the years. You would be forgiven for thin king Edgar is of an older generation than he actually is. Edgar has been a stalwart of Edward's family for years and having an almost brotherly relationship with Edward. Edgar sees Edward's like of lifes' finer things and accepts his materialistic ways, hoping that one day, he'll see past all that and see and love life in a different way.
Edgar has too noticed the change in his friend and is eagerly awaiting their meet up that has been arranged. Edgar does love a bit of gossip, but also hopes that Edward will confide in him so he can help guide Edward, especially as Edgar can see a lady involved here, but who and what is troubling Edward, he's not sure.
We'll be visiting Edgar and Edward together very soon.
