The craft Barn Alpha Challenge

Hi there, over at The Craft Barn blog they are running an alpha challenge, where every other Sunday a new letter is given for us to make either an altered dictionary page corresponding to a chosen word or an alpha journal or something similar. The challenge kicked off with the letter V. I chose V for VIBRANT. Using matt medium I stuck the other v pages together as the paper is wafer thin. Gesso the page, leaving the definition clear. Then have used oil pastels to make a vibrant, bright background and Dylusions stamps, and an Octopode Factory Elf Mobile stamp. Stamping on book pages left uncoloured to offer contrast to the heavy colouring background. I really enjoyed this and can't wait for the next letter.
