Everything except the flowers has been die cut from chipboard using sizzix big shot pro and bigz dies as I don't have many pre made ones, but I soon will be stocking up as I'm so loving the products I now know about by tando creative. The main background is made using acrylic paints and a brayer with gesso. The flowers I made from punched shapes. A few pearl buttons and crystal pins and a charm to decorate. I hope you like it, and I'm entering it here.

ReplyDeleteDawn this is absolutely gorgeous, so sweet & I love your handmade flowers :)
ReplyDeleteSorry it's taken me a while to get back to you hun, I stupidly published your comments and couldn't find them lol.
In answer to your questions I spend hours on one card, the colouring alone takes me more than an hour & I'm probably a bit slower than most at making them because of my shoulder injury.
After I have published my cards some are donated to my local hospice to sell or sold to friends and family, some are for orders, some I make with particular people in mind for me to give them and I keep trying to build up a little stash with the intention of either opening an Etsy store or selling on eBay.
I buy my flowers either from Wild Orchid Crafts (I love their vintage coloured roses), Live & Love Crafts & Joanna Sheen both sell my favourite Kort & Godt flowers & Simon Says Stamp & The Craftz Boutique have a huge slection of Prima flowers. I am a real hoarder of flowers, Prima I find are the most expensive probably Wild Orchid are the cheapest.
I hope this helps hun :)
hugs Mandy xx
