Hello. I had a wonderful birthday yesterday with some lovely gifts and cards from my card swap group. Thanks so much, they're all on display. To keep lookin at and enjoy for a while yet, you guys really did help make my birthday extra special.
I was a very lucky crafty gal as my family also treated me to some top craft gear and I got to spend the day with them all.
On a different note, I'm writing this blog post whilst browsing a craft department in a store, how marvellous is modern technology. Picked up some uniball paint pens in silver n gold, I tried one a while back and it's been that useful I've used it up. They're great for adding edges and colouring your mats n layers. A present for a crafty friend, oh and what else has dropped in my basket, some small alphabet stamps, bargain for a pound, some peel off greetings for my mum and some kling on, tape and some treats for my friend. Nothing exciting for me but stash is stash ha ha.
Blogging while shopping.....priceless.
Seeing as it is mother's day this weekend across the pond, I thought I'd make my mum a card, using her favourite's of bright colours, clean lines and bling. I coloured my stamped image from kraftin Kimmie using just coloured woodless koh I nor pencils. I really enjoyed using the pencils and this was my first attempt using them.
Mum loved her card, and I love her. X
Happy crafting
Luv dawn
