It's time for a brand new challenge at That Craft Place. Challenge 11 theme is MONOCHROMATIC
This entails using one colour of various shades and tones with a neutral such as white n cream.
The challenge is running til 26th May 2012
There's a fabulous prize for the winner, courtesy of Indigo Blu.
For my design team sample I used goodies provided by Lisa at that craft place and my well used indigo blu script stamp. The base is a die cut circle folded in half and the layers built up, coloured using distress inks. The doily had all sorts thrown at it to get it the right colour starting with mica sprays to get a pearly sheen. The butterflies are Tim Holtz movers n shapers cut from chipboard and paper glued on top. Pearls to embellish and I painted the fairies wings with cosmic shimmer pearl glue. My card uses my favourite technique of using distress inks in different ways for one make.
There's an array of crafty inspiration from all the design team, so pop over and take a look and I look forward to seeing your entries.
Happy crafting
Luv Dawn
