That Craft Place Challenge 4

That Craft Place Challenge 4
It’s challenge time again over at That Craft Place. This theme is HOME SWEET HOME
For my design team samples I used another yummy VILDA STAMPS, I do have a soft spot for any mushroom images, and this one is just tantalising.
My home sweet home card has a background painted using Eco Green acrylic paints and pattern stamped with a flower stampin up stamp, plastic lids and paint brush end for dots and I used nestabilities dies, cuttlebug embossing folder, ribbon coloured brown with pro markers and has the main image coloured with my beloved pro markers.

Would you like to win this card? Everyone who leaves a comment on this blog post will go into the draw to win it and a name chosen at random. closing date 31 jan 2012
The second card is A4 in size. I really wanted to use my watercolour pencils, as I have neglected them for a long while. I stamped the mushroom house image three times, masking the first image stamped then the second. I seemed to spend a long while colouring this in, and created the scene myself, and enjoyed learning how moving the brush in different ways can create different effects and tones of the colour laid down on the card. I also thought I'd show how the picture built up.

All the VILDA STAMPS can be purchased from Lisa at That Craft Place. VILDA STAMPS offer different subjects, from cute characters to something fun for the oldies. lol. Pop over and have a look.
