That Craft Place Challenge 2

It's challenge time again over at That Craft Place.
CHALLENGE 2 Theme is Sweet Treats...Pastel colours.
The challenge is running until 31st December 2011
Up for grabs is another delectable Vilda Stamps for the challenge winner.

I really enjoyed coming up with a couple of samples ,to offer you some inspiration.
The theme is also tied in my December Card Swap theme, so why not make a card for the swap and then take a photo and enter it into the challenge.

My samples are made using Eco Green Acrylic Paints, which are available to buy from That Craft place.
I love, love using these paints, the colours mix well, give easy smooth coverage and work well with crackle paint techniques.
The chocolates were made by painting some card with them, then punching out circles and covering with glossy accents, that a textured with a brush.
The box is pink card stamped with swirl stamp, edged with darker pink card and dotted with Ranger Liquid Pearls.
The lilac card is stamped with Creative Expressions Crackle Stamp in Milled Lavender Distress Ink
A border of punched vellum added interest.

The delicious Ice Cream sample started off as three scoops, but it kept wanting more, so who was I to resist.
I made a lilac coloured background using the acrylic paints and plenty of water to help blend colours.
The cone was made by cutting a triangle of brown acrylic painted cardstock. Then I punched circles out of embossed cardstock and built the Ice Cream
and added some ribbon and tag.
