Molly Bloom n cling film

Here's a card I made recently and thouroughly enjoyed experimening with colours and techniques. I wanted to try and re create a technique that I had read about using wet inks and sprays, glossy cardstock and cling film, but using my beloved Eco Green Acrylic Paints. I did managed it by making the paint thin with water and spraying the matt cardstock with water before during and after I'd applied the paint. The pattern may not have turned out as strong, but it did work to a degree that i liked so I added another layer using sequin waste and tattered rose distress ink.
The image was stamped and water coloured using various brown distress inks, just browns, no other colours. The flower was made using Tim Holtz Tattered Floral Die and cardstock I'd sponge painted with a mix of pinks and cream acrylic paints. gold leaves die cut from gold painted cardstock. I dyed some bias binding with cold tea and tied around base. I prefer using bias binding to seam binding sometimes as it gives a rougher more cotton like look and feel. It is easily coloured with anything from paints to inks to pro markers and of course a good ole cuppa tea.
