Imagination Crafts midway

Hello, today I'm sharing my midway sample for IMAGINATION CRAFTS CHALLENGE BLOG where the theme is Merry Christmas. The winner who has used any of IMAGINATION CRAFTS products will win a £40.00 voucher to spend with them. Now that's what I call a grand prize.
Here's my inspiration for you. I wanted to make a modern card that could also be sent to those that don't celebrate Christmas itself.

I've used.
Imagination Crafts Decoupage stamp set - Dove

Other products.
White, black card
Black memento ink, versamark ink
Wow embossing powder Platinum
Grey Polychromo pencil
Martha Stewart border punch
Clear gems

I've stamped and heat embossed the dove stamp onto black and white card, colouring some shadows into the image with grey pencil and then cutting out the white card dove and sticking it onto the black image. Now I did originally colour my black dove with white pencil but it didn't stand out enough so plan b and that looked much better.
I've made a background by arranging the word stamps from the set and repeat stamping. Simple and looks good.
I wanted everything to match and using the same platinum embossing powder I used for main image I used it to create some layers by embossing the edge of the card layer. I also went back and dipped the very edge of  the card into more powder and heated so I got an uneven edge.
The make up you can see from the pic and then used border punch instead of ribbon to create a band across and some clear gems to finish.
