Crop A Dile Big Bite

The MDF frame sets are so smooth and versatile, from the main idea of sticking the back and front together to using as wall hangers, scrapbook, journaling covers to using each for separate projects and even painting scenes on them. The design team have all got great samples to share with you on the challenge and shop blog.
I went with making a double hanging frame. The crop a dile big bite went through the thick, smooth MDF without much trouble. I painted front and back, crackled and then sanded the wooden boards, stamped and embossed the three words that come in the set and also the Dove stamp, and painted in shadows on the image with watered down Antartic paint. With the sets you get a sheet of MDF shapes too. Here I've used the dove and star, painting with Antartic Fresco, applying thick layer of Rock Candy crackle paint sprinkle with glitter whilst still wet, then silver embossed the edges. The stencilling is done with the Sparkle medium and some extra glitter over it (well it is Christmas) and when dry using the white gel pen I drew onto the stencilled shapes, it made it really pop. For the hanging I twisted four lengths of wire together and threaded through the eyelets. Finally glueing on the wooden embellishments. So there we have it.
Thank you for stopping by and can't wait to see your Christmas entries. Click HERE for challenge blog or on links above.
