Imagination Crafts DT midway

Hi guys, it's time for our midway reminder for the challenge at Imagination Crafts Challenges. This month the theme is Glitter and Sparkle. So we'd like to see you shine with your creations. The winner of the challenge receives a massive £40 to spend at Imagination Crafts. How mega is that?
With this I'd like to show you my sample, part of the midway inspiration offered by the design team. So do pop over and check them all out. We'd love your comments too.

I made a card, using the following Imagination Crafts Products.
Diamond background stencil
Black Stars sparkle medium
Daisy Decoupage stamp set

Other products used.
Card stock, silver acrylic paint, distress inks, dettol, clear gems, butterfly punch, clear Utee,

The card blank is edged with black stars sparkle medium.

Inky background made with blending distress inks and flicking with Dettol anti bac cleaner. I like this to water as by just leaving it sitting on the card it mellows and disperses the ink slightly different to water and blotting away gives a more dramatic blotch look.

Main layer, linen effect card covered with silver paint, dried then used Diamond stencil (told you a favourite) with Black stars Sparkle Medium.

Main focal points comes from the versatile Daisy Decoupage stamp set. Using the small flower, I stamped onto card coloured the same as the inky background layer, cut into the petals and then covered them with UTEE and shaped whilst still warm. Sentiment from same set stamped onto more of the same card and then butterflies punched from left over card and stamped with the edge of the main stamp from the set. 

Seeing as we're all about sparkle I had to add some clear gems dotted about and felt it completed the card.
