Hi there here's my first entry into this week's THE CRAFT BARN ALPHA CHALLENGE. Letter Q, I chose Quartet. I also made it to fit the colour challenge at A SPRINKLE OF IMAGINATION (the flowers are done in the darker and lighter turquoise colours but photo showing more blue) and being inspired by Liz Borer on the PAPERARTSY BLOG. LIZ encouraged me to think of colours and blends and techniques, so I chose Fresco paints in Stone, nougat, London night and used these for the background to get the different shades of mushroom and vanilla I was lookin for to coincide with the colour challenge. This one I just simply used a paint brush to build up layers of colour, some paint through leaf stencil and then Grunge Paste through The Artistic Stamper stencil for the cap circles and then painted over when dry. Background stamping in green paint.
The flowers stamped onto book pages and are painted using acrylics mixed with gel medium to give texture.
All stamps are from the PAPERARTSY Jofy collections.
