Hello here's my entry for The Craft Barn Alpha Challenge letter N, week 22 I chose to do nincompoop. This is a word I remember from my childhood and thought it was a bit of fun. I also made it to go with the Country View Crafts November Letters Challenge and Craft Stamper Blog Take it, Make it challenge 5
I've used a mixture of acrylic paints and I gesso to make my background and flicked paint from a plastic spatula.
Stamps are Dylusions Pondering Petunia, Love Struck Lucy and Write Between the Lines and as they are imaginative and silly and fun so thought fitted the word well. I have also used Paper Artsy JOFY mini 16. I decided to stamp onto book paper and colour in grey and black as the background is busy and full of colour. The hand depicts pointing at Petunia and her gesture as if to say "what me?"
I've added Fresco Gloss Glaze to Petunia's eyes, heart and then some silver detail Sparkle Medium to background and to adorn Petunia with jewellery.
The background is more turquoise in colour so will get a better pic in daylight.
We're getting there and I think I'll be sad to see this complete but look forward to what The Craft Barn have in store for us next year.
