Halloween Imagination Crafts DT

A warm hello to you. Today sees the start of a brand new challenge at Imagination Crafts Challenges. This month we would like to see your creations and interpretations on the theme of Halloween.

As always there is a fabulous prize of a £40 voucher to spend at Imagination Crafts for one winner who enters our challenge and uses imagination craft products. All other entries will be eligible for our top 3.

For my sample this month I have made a card using the Spooky Scene stencil  and Black Stars Sparkle Medium from Imagination Crafts.

Quite simple really but the stencil really is the star of the show so wanted to show it off at it's most.

I made a background using dye inkpads and placed my stencil over it and applied the sparkle medium through it. I do love this product as it really does give a clean detailed image even when spread thickly as I've done here. Then layered onto amy card base which I edged with more sparkle medium. To add a little something I used the sparkle medium and bat shape on the stencil onto some acetate, let dry then cut out with a strip left at top and stuck them inside my base card and bent them over to the front, so they're flapping around.

Talking about bats, we have some around here and although I always miss seeing them I hear them, it's a strange sound, bit like when I stood on Oscar the kitten yesterday, lol ooops.
