Washi lady

Hello hello. Gosh the days are getting colder and stepping outside just after seven I was surprised to find how dark it was, but as my ever knowledgeable other half rightly said, it is Autumn. So it is I replied. It just kind of sneaks up on me.
Anyhow here's a card I've made for the Stampotique Designers Challenge #118. Astrid challenged us to use washi tape. and Country View Crafts challenges September - layers.
I've used Autumnal oranges, reds and browns and blue to remind me of the sky
Therefore I'd also like to enter this into Fashionable Stamping Challenge #57 Autumnal colours
I've added shine with TH crackle glaze on my embellishments so I'd like to enter this into the challenge at Crafts-too Texture add sparkle, shine, glaze.
The rest of my card is made up of this. The base is kraft card 8x4 inches. I've used acrylic paints onto canvas for my background. For the washi tape part (made using masking tape, Fresco paints, PaperArtsy stamps) I've used some homemade tape that I made a bit ago. I stuck it to some card and used Andy Skinner's stencil to draw my lady onto it and cut out. I also used my washi tape on a chipboard flower and die cut hearts which are from sizzix.
Flower centre is Paper Artsy Grunge Paste used in Martha Stewart mould. Some bits of ribbon and painted pearl and candi to decorate.
I really like how this came together and will most certainly be using my stencils again to cut out shapes.
Thanks for dropping by and have a great week.
Happy crafting
Luv dawn
