Hello there. Stampotique have been running two new design team calls. One for the Stampotique Designers challenge blog and one for the Stampotique Designers blog. Now on seeing this I thought YES. I would so love to be a part of the Stampotique Design Team.I would prefer the challenge blog but I wouldn't say no to either. I discovered Stampotique a few months back and have fallen badly for the stamps. As many others have too. I have a few Stampotique stamps and have an order on the way. I just can't help but want to use them. Why? Stampotique to me opens up my creative possibilities. Their stamps are different and offer various styles to suit lots of people. It's as if the designs say it's ok and good to be different. It's fun to explore all kinds of techniques using these stamps. They gave me the confidence to try new styles and techniques. And they stamp superbly. So as you can guess by now and from previous posts, I enjoy Stampotique stamps and also seeing what other crafters make with them. I like to share things I've made and hope to encourage or inspire others aswell as promoting Stampotique Stamps. I have so many ideas I would like to make, from pegs, to tin cans and paper cups. I would love to get the opportunity to do so.
So here is my entry. Combining a couple of my favourite mediums, paint and alcohol pens.
Made on canvas board, I've started with acrylic paints and then added a layer of scrunched tissue paper adhered with matt medium and then added more paint using a spatula to scrape it over the textured surface.
Seeing as I was using the rain quote I needed some rain. So I made my own stencil out of card in droplet shapes and used Grunge Paste through it. When dry I added Fresco Gloss Glaze to reflect water.
Next up I've stamped onto tissue paper using a mix of Stampotique, Jofy Paper Artsy stamps and Dylusions. Using grey stazon and memento ink as I felt black to harsh and then painted on the reverse side. Cut them out and glued to my canvas with Mod Podge Matt.
I've stamped my main images onto card and coloured with Pro Markers.

It look really good and I know you like stampotique x
