Lovebirds

Here's my entry for Stampotique Designers challenge #113. Maria challenged us to make something along the wedding theme. I must admit this stumped me, wanting a whimsical feel that fitted into my book of challenges shape.
I made a background of crumpled tissue paper painted with gesso and acrylic paint that left a shiny look and covered with iridescent glitter. Then through chicken wire stencil I used gel medium and covered this with a peach glitter. The heart is made using white Utee poured into heart shape cake silicone mould. Twig from my washing basket lol painted. Stamps are Jofy PaperArtsy. Love these new stamps. Coloured with pro markers.
Handmade flowers using woodware punch and card coloured with same pro markers used on birds.
Everything was given a hint of pebeo gold gilding creme. I think I spent more time thinking about this one than making it, but I liked the finish result. So did Katie, bless who said pretty.
As for our kittens. They'll be arriving tomorrow and we are calling them Millie and Oscar. The children are so excited and can't wait, me neither.
