Hello friends, today I'd like to introduce you to Molly. Molly is one of the new characters available from Visible Image. Molly is more modern in appearance than Isabella and Edward, so I took on some creative license in order to fit her into my story. The tag I created is bold, colourful and has different embellishments and details added to reflect my idea of who Molly is.
Molly also continues our story with Isabella and Edward.
Now here is part two, an introduction to Molly and her character and a little into Edward's and Molly's background.
Molly is Edward's younger sister. Born later, the more modern times appeal to Molly's nature. Molly is certainly a young girl with lots of character. Molly has more than two sides to her coin shall we say. She is bright, intelligent, artistic and adventurous. Molly is also cunning, spoilt, mischievous, demanding and wants everything her own way, and boy, she knows how to get it. Whether it be through careful planning, being as sweet as apple pie or plain ole tantrums. Molly wants, Molly gets and doesn't take kindly to changes within her world.
Edward adores and loves his little sister. To Edward, Molly is very special and can do little that is wrong. She is the centre of his family life and gives his time freely for her. You see, Edward has never had a close relationship with his parents. Being cared for and brought up by the staff employed within his family home. His father ran the family business and estate and his mother concentrated on acting all the lady of the manor, entertaining, socialising and heading various committees. Time for their children was limited and Molly was never afforded more of it than Edward. This didn't bother him, for he loved his sister and accepted it.
Edward never had anything to truly love and call his own, til Molly came along. He took on the role of elder brother with a passion. A passion that recently surfaced for another, named Isabella.
Molly and Edward live within the family estate, Albion Manor. A grand affair built centuries ago and passed down through the generations. With well tended gardens, lawns and stables it was very much picture perfect.
Molly had noticed a change in her brother of recent times. Often deep in thought, his eyes shining with a merriment unknown to her previously. He also seemed to have less time to spend with her. This Molly was not a kin too, and it poked at her, not knowing what, why, or rather who was the reason behind this change. Molly was going to have to find out, she'd tried asking Edward what he'd been up to lately through general conversation, but nothing had revealed itself. No, Molly was going to have to come up with some way of following Edward, without him knowing, yet she'd need someone to accompany her.
Planning and scheming was part of the thrill for young Molly. Edward had Isabella on his mind too much to notice his sister's questions. So what will Molly find out and how will she react?
Part three we come back to Edward.
Don't forget still time to enter the challenge at DCC and Friends sponsored by visible image with bumper prize.
My tag is made from torn book pages glued to a piece of card then painted with a wash of gesso. Then I've glued some shapes to this and gesso over top. Sprayed with mica sprays then wiped off with wet wipe so can still see the writing. Then Stamped with Visible Image grunge dots and the shatter effect from time stamp set. Molly is coloured using pro markers. I've embellished with bits n pieces and some circle netting folded up for something different.
