Morning all, HAPPY WORLD CARDMAKING DAY to all fellow crafty people. In celebration everyone who leaves me a comment on this blog post will go into a draw to win a little bit of crafty candy.
Today I'm showing a card made using Papelitos stamps, there are some marvellous digis and I chose to purchase Alice as I have varied plans for this girl. I'm fairly new into the world of digital images and the amount and variety out there is amazing and so much choice too. I wasn't convinced for a long time as I kept thinking what I couldn't do with digis compared to rubber stamps but now I think what I can do.
Anyhow, I've gone all out n out pink for my card with lots of handmade flowers, as the challenge at Papelitos is flowers and it is Breast Cancer Awareness month too and I have seen various challenges in honour of this so added in pink organza bows too.
I coloured Alice using pro markers and polychromo pencils. The paper is Willow Designs.I have distressed all the edges of card and paper. The flowers with red gems in centre were a play experiment after seeing some die cut flowers in blog land, and start off as a square. Let me know if you'd like a mini tutorial on them, as I rather like them and they're easy peasy to make.
