DCC & FRIENDS CHALLENGE 3

Hello, today I'm posting about the new challenge at DCC & FRIENDS. Our theme for CHALLENGE #3 is Character Crazy.
We are proud to be sponsored by PapercraftJunkies.com who has kindly donated 6 digi images of the winners choice,  plus use a PapercraftJunkie image and you'll be entered into the draw for another crafty prize.
There's also the next letter in our Treasure Hunt.
The challenge is open til 23:59 14th October 2012
At Papercraftjunkies.com there's a shop wide sale on and some freebies too.
You can enter via the challenge blog link tool or via the Dawn's Crafty Cards and Friends website challenge gallery, so you can enter the challenge without a blog.
For my design team sample I chose to use one of my favourite collections from PapercraftJunkies.com the RUSTINS. In this collection as in all of them, there is something to suit everyone. There's bound to be a Rustin that reminds you of someone, from mum to uncle, son, daughter, Aunt, they really are fab. There's also images to make up your own scene too, lots to play with.
I can honestly say I really enjoyed colouring in these characters, so much fun. To make my card, it is large at A4 in size, but then I did have a lot to fit in. I was so keen to show as many Rustins as I could. I used MCS to put my images together, one page using house 4 and doodle trees set 2 and a second page grouping my RUSTINS together. I cut out around my little family leaving a strip at the bottom and coloured everything using pro and flex markers and then used foam tape to attach this to my scene. A title printed out using word and the rest embellished as shown. I raided David's tool box, wasn't a lot in it ha ha, and stuck them to my card and made a little house key dangle using a Tim Holtzt memo pin, some thick wire and hooks.
I do hope you'll come and join in with our challenge and personally get so thrilled when you comment on my blog too. Which I've got candy up for grabs.
Thanks for hopping by and happy crafting
Luv Dawn
