Hello everyone, it's time for a new challenge at THAT CRAFT PLACE CHALLENGE BLOG
This time we have a great sketch to follow designed by the wonderful design team member Kelly.
We are kindly sponsored by crafters companion with a voucher to spend for the winner.
For my card I chose another favourite swalk stamp, miss madam, and used papers and embellishments available from Lisa at THAT CRAFT PLACE shop and online
Using grand labels 4 to cut out my image I then made a little scene using a small swalk flower stamp for the wallpaper and pro markers to colour everything in. I made a picture to hang on the wall using shrink plastic.
Lisa gave us some mesh wire to play with so I decided to use it to make flowers. You really must get some, I had fun playing and squishing and stretching it to make flower layers. I threaded a pearl bead through each one to hold the flower layers together.
A tip is to roll the ends like a double seam to stop it from fraying.
Then using pearls and beads made a couple of pins to finish off.
It's a large card at 7x10 inches. I do like working with larger card sizes as it allows me room to include lots more or just to space out elements so everything's not so clustered.
Hope you like my sample and we look forward to seeing all your entries.
Closing date for challenge is 23rd June 2012
Happy crafting
Luv dawn
I'd also like to enter this into the following challenges
