Polka doodles are celebrating 3 years since the blog and challenges first began. The challenge was to make a birthday card incorporating 3. So I chose to use 3 favourite things I like to make; stamping, big rosettes and paper roses.
I used 3 ribbons tied in knot on the rosette edge, made 3 roses from punched flower shapes, 3 buttons and a birthday message greeting handwritten.
I used my new polka doodles cupcake stamp and made a shaped easel card using grand nestabilities labels 1.
To enter into use top tip Tuesday challenge I used my old favourite Woodware punch for the flowers, not had it out for a while and my top tip is if you want a full bottom layer using all petals you can do, don't cut inbetween any petals, curl petal edges then place flower in palm of hand, cup hand and use a tool or end of a pen and rub centre of flower in a circular motion this gives it dimensional shape.
I would really love to win this challenge as I adore polka doodles images and papers so much it has made me want to start digital crafting, and for that some cd's would be most helpful. I enjoyed making this card and hope you like it too. Apologies for poor photo the light is terrible today with all this rain. Thanks for lookin
Happy crafting
