BRIGHT N CHEERY TULIPS

Well, what a week and it's only Wednesday. Monday morning was rather funny. You know when a handful of inconsequencial things happen in such a short space of time, added up make you think hey, that was one heck of an hour n half and a gentle chuckle and shake of the head to finish it off. It started off with me dropping my mobile outside on the ice then it playing silly beggers in the middle helping an old man stuck on the ice in his car burning his clutch out and finished with a conversation with a mum of young twin boys. The rest well it'll take a full page to write in. I saw this mum, obviously hassled pushing a double buggy in the ice with twin boys. Bringing back memories, I stopped and asked her how old are they? 15 months came the short stiff reply. So I said I has twin boys who are now 8, her shoulders relaxed. She asked me does it get any easier? We had a quick chat, I said yes it does and they'll make all the hard work worthwhile. You see I remember back in the very early days of my first borns, lots of people cooing over them etc, when inside I was so shattered and worn out physically and mentally (especially as mine were 9 weeks early home at 3 weeks old) you can easliy lose site of how lucky you are and why people are enthralled by multiples. Each and every day now I count my blessings and never lose sight of just how blessed and lucky I am to have four wonderful children, no matter how difficult things can be.

Anyhow that's my little pause for thought. Here's a card I really enjoyed making. Bright n cheery in this cold weather. It was all made using just a Pastel Kaleidacolor Inkpad, Brayer and a black memento inkpad along with stamps from Chocolate Baroque and a Kanban swirl stamp. This Tulip stamp was the first ever stamp set I purchased, I still use it all these years later along with the tulip script stamp that came with it. Goes to show, rubber stamps are so useful, no matter how long you've had them.
Luv Dawn
